Degree Description

Typical coursework in a Digital Media Production program includes such classes as television production writing, computer systems for video, digital imaging for video and distance learning production. Upon graduation one will have created a media-specific portfolio or demo reel that will impress prospective employers. Most obtaining an undergraduate degree will be prepared for entry-level positions such as production assistants, assistant editors and assistant producers. Graduate level programs are also available but not always necessary for employment. Graduate degrees will allow one to compete for advanced positions.
