Degree Description
Bachelor’s programs in Web Design and Development explore both front end and back end development. Students are taught how to concept, code, and publish content for a variety of formats, including the Web, cell phones and PDAs. Courses teach the mastery of XHTML, CSS, XML, ActionScript, JavaScript, and more in order to develop a well-rounded skill set of computer web coding. Courses also explore the visual elements of a site. This includes the development of raster and vector graphics and the use of Flash as an interactive animation tool. Programs combine classroom learning with in-depth computer training that offers students a tremendous opportunity for a balanced curriculum that includes theory and practical application.
